If you are like me you want to look after your skin. My Mum started me on a cleanse/tone/moisturise ritual with Max Factor Swedish Formula when I was still at school. Over the years I moved from lotions and cotton wool, onto cleaning gels and then hot cloth cleaners, but the very best clean is with an electronic facial cleaner.

I was so pleased to be asked to review the SENSSE Go! Mini Sonic Facial Cleansing Brush and Exfoliator.

It came in a beautiful box, and would therefore make a lovely gift to someone. But it doesn’t just look good, it works!

I understand the process – it stimulates the skin, and yes, I could do this using my finger tips. But would I? and would you? I doubt it. We’d just wash as usual. But this little machine makes it so easy. It also removes dead skin cells too.

Open it up and you find the facial cleaner box with 2 brushes and cover. The instructions are easy to follow.

First thing was to put it to charge, this took less than 2 hours and with a USB connection it was much better than searching for batteries. I had a good look at the brushes and these were soft to the touch.

You move the brush over your face. There are 2 settings for the brush and I mainly used the lower one. This was enough pressure and speed for me. I tried the faster speed too which was fine, I wondered if it would be too much – no it wasn’t and I’ve got quite sensitive skin.

Apparently it moves at up to 600 oscillations. no way I could massage my face that quickly.

I like to multi task so used it as I walked around the kitchen. It’s easy to use with just using one hand.

Right from the first day my skin felt great. I love the way this stimulates the blood just under the skin and really does make my skin glow.

There is also an exfoliating brush. With sensitive skin this isn’t something I do regularly as I don’t want to irritate my skin. I’ve used this once and no redness.

I don’t think I would but I could use this in the shower or bath if I wanted.

This is going to be part of my regular routine.
